DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY AND ZOOLOGY

Introduction

The School of Science offers undergraduate degree programmes leading to award of Bachelor of Science in various physical and biological sciences. There are also postgraduate degree programmes leading to the award of M.Phil and D.Phil degrees. In supporting the mission of Moi University, the School of Science aims at producing graduates with practical and intellectual skills appropriate to the needs of the present and future Kenyan society. As Kenya gears towards industrialization, the School of Science ensures that its students acquire skills and knowledge that will enable them to make positive contribution to national development. In this context the School will equip the students with skills appropriate for the transfer of modern information technology.
